About Me — Jalal ibn Sa’eed Mohabbat

I am Jalal ibn Sa’eed Mohabbat — a transformational and spiritual coach, business mentor, and keynote speaker with over three decades of leadership in Da’wah, global community-building, and corporate management.

My journey began in Afghanistan as a war child — witnessing hardship no child should face — before my family fled to Houston, Texas in search of safety. Growing up in the heart of America’s Southern Baptist Belt, I was immersed in diverse faith traditions. My first encounters with religion came through church visits, studying the Bible, and exploring the Old Testament — where I discovered the shared Abrahamic roots and the legacy of Prophet Jacob (Ya’qub, peace be upon him).

In my teens, I thrived in debate and dialogue, developing a lifelong passion for understanding the human quest for meaning. I later pursued my studies at the University of Houston, embarking on a 35-year career in IT, culminating in my role as Head of IT for an international logistics company.
After moving to the UK and starting my family, I founded Al Fitrah in 2000, which grew into a national Da’wah organisation. We pioneered the 1Eid movement, reviving the authentic Sunnah celebration of Eid and uniting people across cultures, faiths, and backgrounds.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve:

  • Worked under the guidance of scholars of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah
  • Appeared on BBC TV, ITV, BBC Radio, Islam Channel, Iqra TV, Press TV, and more
  • Delivered lectures at universities, interfaith panels, and faith-based institutions
  • Led community initiatives that broke barriers and built bridges of understanding

As a coach and speaker, I now help individuals and leaders remove their internal and spiritual blocks, align with their Deen, and achieve peace and success in every area of life.

Fun fact: I’m an American muscle car enthusiast who drives an F150 Roush Stage 3 through London — a daily reminder that standing out is a blessing when it’s done with purpose.

Everything I do is for one reason — to seek Allah’s pleasure by serving humanity and helping others live with clarity, purpose, and peace.
